In poking around through my backlog of bookmarks I was struck once again today by the artwork of San Francisco-based, Barbara Kleinhans. I’m not sure what it says about me that I love artwork that evokes memories of the countryside and small towns but I do love her pieces – especially of the barns.
Similar to the tin tiles I reference in the previous post, her regularly shaped, abstract pieces make great vignettes as well. The one below is called elevation, naturally.
